Contra Bass - key "A" in Spanish Cedar

The Contra Bass Flutes have an exceptional deep and resonant voice. This allows creating songs in the different octave ranges and makes these flutes a great addition for performing and recording. They are a large flute with large fingering holes, requiring the skill of an experienced player. We create the main body from Spanish Cedar. The fetish and sound plate are Walnut. Spanish Cedar is a soft wood which produces a warm voice ideal for lower tone flutes.

Contra Bass - key G & F# in Spanish Cedar
High Spirits sells these deep bass instruments as single octave flutes, however you may be able to create notes beyond the octave. The unique design of this ergonomic mouth piece allows you to play the flute close to the body. By doing so, cocking of the wrist is minimized, making the fingering of the holes easier.
