A message from Odell Borg: The Native American flute and other wooden flutes styled after the Native American flute are a magical and a wonderful way to express emotions and feelings. It is very low tech yet has the most soothing, peaceful voice through which we can easily express ourselves. On my website you will find Native American style flutes for everyone from beginners to professional musicians and I have Real Audio samples of each flute to help you determine what is best for you. If you are looking for your first flute, check out the Sparrow Hawk and Whitetail Hawk - easy to play, a very pleasing tone and affordable. The smaller Merlin at $79 and Kestrel at $69 are also very affordable, fun flutes. If you need more help deciding, check out the testimonials page for some feedback from others on what kind of flute got them started. If you are a first-time flute buyer, I have a page to help you figure out where to start. Click here for that. Safe Journey, Octave ranges available with High Spirits Flutes:
You can buy flutes, accessories, "How To" Videos/Books and the recordings of Native American flute player Travis Terry online using a secure server. But, as always, we welcome your phone calls. You can reach us at 800-394-1523. A note about Native American flutes - just as a "French horn" is a particular type of musical instrument, "Native American flute" refers to a particular type of musical instrument and does not imply that it was made by an enrolled member of a federally-recognized tribe. Although Odell has Native American ancestry (Ojibway) and his flutes are owned, used and endorsed by many prominent Native American musicians, High Spirits flutes are not "Native American made" as specified by the U.S. Government. If it is your desire to own a flute made by an enrolled member of a federally-recognized Native American tribe, you can find flutemakers through a web search.
